Korea - Day 3

On our 3rd daay in Seoul, me and Miriam went into Myungdong again to shop for Kpop!!!
At the station there's so many cheap Kpop shops~ and omg I bought so much! XD

I bought CDs from B2ST, Taeyang's "Solar" Deluxe Edition(which came with a T-shirt!!), U-KISS, Super Junior M, SHINee ++
I also bought a lot of idol stash like paper-pockets with Shinee, DBSK and BIGBANG on them to use for school ;D haha
And I bought cute little notepads with different artists on them(my notes are going to look so nice!), light sticks for Dream Concert, band name stickers and mobile straps!

Feeding my fandom, oh yeah. XDD I'll post pictures of my entire collection later.

Also, I got to look around Myungdong and try some traditional Korean food! Cold glass noodles, which we were supposed to use scissors to cut! It was the first time I saw scissors being used seriously while eating noodles, in Norway it's never used! lol
It was really tasty, and perfect for such a totally hot day!

After that I went to a dog-café!!!! I've never been in one before, it was so cozy and sweet! The dogs were so social and cuddly~

And then.... We went to Se7en's chicken restaurant in Gangnam!!!! We got a table in the inner corner and on the walls were pictures of Onew, Taeyang and various other artists who have visited the restaurant!! It was so awesome, and as we walked in, Taeyang's "My girl" was playing in the background!!! They played so much awesome kpop songs, we were singing and dancing at the table in between eating the delicious (and spicy as hell) chicken dish~~

It was another great day filled with kpop awesomeness :D

Korea - Day 2

The day after we arrived in Seoul, me and my friend went to Gangnam to meet Miriam's friend, Cami. Together we planned to go visit Brand New Stardom, the managing company of the new Idol group Block B, to deliver some fan gifts and maybe catch a glimpse of the guys.

When we found the managing company building, we were guided into the office, where the managers were sitting. They greeted us and told us that Block B were not in the office, but in Myungdong, preparing to perform on a music show for MTV Korea. However, the manager people let us have a look inside the dance practicing room of Block B and even gave us signed posters!! Then they gave us instructions on how to go to meet the guys and called them to arrange a meeting! O___O Cami, who knew the most Korean out of the three of us, spoke with Block B's manager and she got to speak with Kyung, who is the only one of the boys who knows English! He told us to call them again when we got to the MTV building! OMG

So we went off to Myungdong, and followed the directions given by the Brand New Stardom and quickly found the MTV building. After queing for a while, we got into the building, and got to watch some of the performers rehearse for the TV shooting!

When Block B arrived at the MTV building, we first met them by accident in the stairway, then we were picked up by their manager and got to meet the guys backstage before their shooting! The meeting was also filmed and we gave them our presents and took pictures with them! They were soo nice!

I took a picture with Zico! (nevermind my weirdness in this photo, I suck at posing lol)

Group photo! ^^

It was so much fun, and we never expected to actually meet them like THIS!!!!
After meeting them,, we were guided outside to queue again to get in to watch the actual show being filmed! We got to stand in the VIP spot, and since we had fanboards with us, the TV crew wanted us to stand right next to the MCs (who were Luna from f(x) and Hyosung from Secret!) So we were actually IN the show! That was REALLY unexpected!

We are standing right behind the MCs, holding the fanboards that says "BBC" and "BBC from Norway"!!

So this day turned out to be totally awesome and with lots of surprises!!! we got to meet one of our favorite Kpop groups, see them perform live from the best seats, and even be on Korean MTV! What a day!!!! :DD

This is the performance of Block B from the show, aired on May 27th. :D (I appear in the right corner, lol XD)

Korea - Day 1

OK, so we arrived in Seoul yesterday, after a long journey!! First we started off in Fredrikstad, then we took the bus into Oslo Gardermoen Airport. From there we flew to Stockholm to change plane. But the people at the airport in Norway had made a mistake and only tagged our baggage to Stockholm, so we had to go all the way back and find our bags and go through the entire process of checking in and getting to our gate once again, just before our plane left!!! DD: STRESS

But we got on the plane to Beijing safely, after being scolded by Swedish Airport staff. lol.
Changing planes in Beijing went smoothly and wonderful as always, I love that airport! When we got on the plane to Korea, our final destination,  it really started to dawn on us that we were going to Korea and to Dream Concert and everything!! SO EXCITED

Here's some plane-food. lol

We found our way out of Incheon Airport and to our hotel really easily! And the hotel is located right next to Yangpyeong station! We did have a little trouble getting out of the station, though, because we were super hyper and super confused. XD But an old Korean man helped us find the elevators and such. And even though he didn't speak much English and we don't speak much Korean, we could understand each other.

Our hotelroom is almost at the top of the building!!! So high up!!!! omg. But the view is fantastic!
Here's the view and me. xD

After packing out and freshening up a bit, we headed out to look around. We walked around in the biggest shopping mall in Korea and had fun taking lots of pictures with kpop posters. lol
Pictures will come soon! XD

Miriam and a Hyungmin commercial poster, doing the Dongwoon- pose. ;D

Plans, plans. :)

OMG what am I even doing. I'm planning a 2-week trip to Japan this summer. I am going to Korea for 10 days in just 3 weeks, and here I am checking how much I will have saved up by July, ticket prices, accommodations and shopping money. @__@ ahaah...

Oh well. I just cant keep away from Asia. 8DDD

I got a tip for a website from my landlady/aunt for some volunteer-work in Japan. I found one which really appeals to me, one volunteer job that I would love to be a part of. They need people at orphanages in Tokyo who can give the babies baby-massage and provide care and love for these babies. This is very important, as all babies need to be loved! I want to participate in this work because I want to help, and this is something that I can do. :) If there is still a need of people in this work when I've finished college, I will definitely do this.
