It's December in Norway.

I have just arrived back from visiting my mother's place for the weekend~ I haven't seen my family since starting this school in August! It was so nice to see them again :D

I baked Serina cookies and gingerbread cookies with my brother and sister while listening to Christmas songs and singing very loudly. lol. I can't post a picture of it since I am giving them away to a special someone. ;D haha

On Sunday my younger sister turned 13! My aunt and cousin came over to celebrate too ^__^I haven't seem them in an even longer time! I'm so happy I could celebrate my sister's birthday with her and with my family~

Here's me, my cousin(in the front) and my younger brother(in the back) at dinner, which was Klubb(a dish made out of potatoes and flour which my grandmother always used to make)

My younger sister and the birthday cake~ She's the cutest ^___^

In the evening we decided to spontaneously run out and play in the snow, which we did. I haven't done that in years! It was so much fun XD

We built a snow lamp~

I tried to build a snowman, but the snow was not good for snow-sculpturing yet, so it turned out to be a snowman-penguin thingy... umm yeah.

This weekend was so lovely, since I am not going to spend Christmas together wit any of my family members for the first time ever, it was nice to spend some time with them before I leave~

It's only like 12 days until I go now !! It's just getting closer and closer~ I've already started packing ^^

And I've gotten a reply from my school. Everything will work out, I will get my high school diploma in June, the school can wait for it, I will be studying in Kyoto, Japan for one year starting October 2012!!!

My life just works out these days. *w*

Lastly, this video pretty much sums up the Christmas in Norway, just in Japanese. XD lol

1st of December

It's this month.

I am going to Osaka in 17 days from now. I am going to meet my boyfriend again and we're going to spend 18 amazing days together, the rest of this year. ♥
We're planning to go to Fukuoka, visiting the German Christmas market, going on a Christmas date, and he's taking me to a zoo to see giant pandas. I'm going to see giant pandas, a whole new city, Christmas date with my love... I am so excited, I cannot even explain!!!

Also, I just sent my CV to my future school in Kyoto. I feel like my life depends on their reply.

And yesterday me and some classmates had a Super Junior fangirl party with Super Show 1~~ AWESOME!

I am pretty tired and exhausted these days, but there are so many brilliant things going on in my life for me to care about that.

Today the entire school has arranged an event to drink the first Christmas-soda(it's a tradition in Norway to drink special Christmas-soda in this month), and we're also going to eat gingerbread cookies~ My school is awesome.

I also have to pack some stuff because I'm going to my mother's place for the weekend. My plane leaves early tomorrow morning. @__@
It's going to be so nice to come back home to see my mom and my stepdad, younger sister and younger brother! And the cats and the dog. I've really missed them~

School life and plans for Christmas and New Year~

Today was a calm day, the Chinese class was really fun~ We had a repetition assignment, where we were supposed to use all we have learned so far to present a person. I realized that we've actually learned a lot!! We can explain a lot about ourselves by now, our name, age, nationality, birthdate, how many kids we don't have, how old our parents are, where our airplane ticket is and other useful things! :D
However, after the Chinese class, my feet started hurting a lot, so I had to lay down and rest for the rest of the schoolday(which was only two hours left, luckily for me). I talked woth Yuto, and it made me feel better. ^_^

Yesterday we had Japanese class, and we did hiragana assignments. I found it interesting, even though I already know hiragana, it was fun to practice my handwriting(I need it. lol) Also, we did a quite spontaneous hiragana bingo game, which I was nowhere near winning. XD
In phys.ed I took a long walk while listening to the new Japanese album by TVXQ. It was nice~

And my plans for Christmas and New Year are set for this year~ I'll go back to Osaka in my Christmas break to spend Christmas and New Year with Yuto! I am so happy and excited!!! We are planning to go to Koube and Fukuoka~ That's two more places I have never been to before, so I'm looking forward to that and to see Yuto again~♥♥♥
I have wanted to spend Christmas and New Year in Japan for many years, and I'm so happy to have the opportunity to spend it with my boyfriend~

Today I booked the hotel~ I'll stay in Shin-Osaka this time too. I thought it was a very nice place, the hotel rates there are cheap, and it's easy to get around from Shin Osaka station ^^ (and it's also not too far away from Yuto~ )

When I was in Oslo with my mom a few weeks ago, I discovered this travel bag:

I was so amazed to actually find a bag with this motive XD it's just perfect for me, since I always travel with Air China to Asia~ I'm also flying with them in December, so obviously I'm going to bring this :3

And I found out that Versailles, one of my favorite Japanese bands are having a concert in Osaka while I'm there! It would be fun to see them live in Japan again~~

These days I feel like I'm just floating around on a big cloud~haha
I just feel so happy all the time ^__^

Halloween-party~

On Saturday the entire school transformed into one big Halloween party!!! It was so much fun! We had a quiz, and we danced a lot~ There was also a show by the Show-line class from my school. And there were so many awesome costumes!! I dressed up in gyaru style.

Here are pictures of some of the costumes~

Me

Julie, Linda and me dancing~

Linn and Thomas. By far one of the BEST costumes!!

Elisabeth as the school ghost~

Linda as dead girl. She won the best female costume :D

I just love the theme parties and events in this school!

School trip to Prague!

Exactly one week after my return from Osaka, my entire school went on a trip to Prague!!
We had so much fun! We saw a lot of beautiful things and buildings, went bar-hopping, Korean restaurant, Praha Zoo and we had dinner at a river boat! We also visited museums and an old castle~
I didn't shop much, I just bought a tea, candy, a souvernir for Yuto and a pair of gorgeous shoes:

Now I'll post some pictures from the trip :D
Me and classmates at Melnik castle:

We went to a nail salon and got manicure which took nearly 3 hours! It was really cheap, and relaxing XD And my nails have never looked better! (sorry for the bad quality of the picture)
We went on a city-tour and stalked the guards outside of Praha Cathedral.

We saw the famous statue at Charles Bridge:
HARRY POTTER in the window at the Museum of Wax:
And of course, I managed to discover some Japanese signs in the middle of Prague. XD
On the third day my class ate dinner at a Korean restaurant. The food was so delicious!
Some of us decided to taste Korean Soju, and I was one of them. But instead of sharing one bottle, me and Emilia ended up accidentally ordering one whole bottle each. O___O We shared some with our teacher and our classmates, but in the end we had to drink most of it ourselves XD Obviously I didn't need much more alcohol that evening, even though we went bar hopping afterwards XDD
The day after I got up really early to go to the Zoo with some other people from my school. vMiraculously I was not hungover at all! Just a bit tired... lol
I walked sooo much this day. Right after returning from the Zoo, the entire school WALKED a long way from the hotel to the Moldau riverside to have dinner at the river boat. It was very nice, but I could have done without the walk...Anyways, here's some pictures from the zoo! :DDD
A hippie-pelican XD:
A fierce tiger:
A lion!!: (he totally ignored us. lol)
A BABY-GORILLA!!!!! :DDDDDD
A cool llama:
A cute penguin x):
A sleepy polar bear~:
A freaky monster bird inside a little house. O__O:
A sloth! :D
Flamingos! :D SO PINK

The last evening me and some other people from my class went to the Museum for Sex Machines... It was... special. lol
Afterwards we went to have dinner at Hard Rock Cafè, and since it was the first time I went to Hard Rock Café, I ordered their legendary burger. It was so big omg. I couldn't even eat it all XDD But it was tasty!
The morning before we left Prague, me and two other girls from my class went to Starbucks~ It was really nice ^_^ But I miss the Matcha Latte from Starbucks in Japan. *__*
lol and I look horrible, never mind my make-up less face.XDD
It was a very nice trip, and this time, my camera actually worked so I was able to document my trip very well! This was also my first trip in another European country~

My trip to Osaka October 2011

Long time no blog! Sorry, but lately I've been updating my Norwegian blog more. T__T However, I am going to start updating this blog more from now on!

So many wonderful things have happened since last time I blogged~
In my autumn vacation, I went to Osaka, Japan. I have only traveled around the Tokyo area before, so I was very interested in seeing how Osaka was! And I've long wanted to see Osaka and Kyoto!

When I got there, I met Yuto, whom I've known for a year. And we spent most of the time of my stay together. ^__^
He showed me so much of Osaka and Kyoto in the days I was there, I was really happy! He's just amazing~

I will now attempt to blog about my 9 days in Japan all in one post. It will be long and picture heavy. :D

I took a lot of pictures, however, my travelling adapter didn't work, so I could not charge my PC or my camera, so the picture-taking was somewhat limited.
I'll start with the picture spam now!! lol get ready.

Me at Peking Airport, where I was waiting for 6 straight hours for the plane for Osaka. It was pretty boring after a while, though it was very beautiful there. I'm pretty sure I know all of the shops that are in there by now.

It felt so good to be back in Japan!! And even though I travelled all alone this time, I didn't feel helpless or anything. Everything went smoothly, I just struggled a little bit with finding my hotel, but after asking a kind Family Mart shop staff, I was able to find it~ And of course, Yuto helped me a lot while I was there. Thanks to him, I was able to have a fantastic experience of Osaka!! :D

On the first day Yuto showed me around in the Umeda and Namba area :D

The first thing me and Yuto did after meeting, was going into the ferris wheel in HEP Five~ It was really cool! I have never ridden in a ferris wheel before!

Our dinner the first day: Chicken katsu kare <3
We saw the Dotonburi crab in Namba!

A cool frog statue in Namba~

In the evening we went into the Umeda tall building, which is kind of like Osaka's version of Tokyo Tower. The view was amazing, and the light effects at the rooftop were really cool!

On the second day we went to the Nissin Instant Noodle Museum!! It was really interesting~

This is the cup noodles I made in the Noodle factory at Nissin Noodle Museum~

We decorated the cups ourselves...

I wrote "Lena and Yuto" in Japanese on mine, and Yuto wrote it in Norwegian on his~ :D It was fun to see how it all was made, and we got to choose our own ingredients!

On Oct. 6th, I went to USJ together with Yuto~!!!!  We had so much fun and we went into A LOT of attractions , I have never taken that many rollercoasters or rides. It was totally amazing! And the weather was perfect!!

The whole place was decorated for Halloween, so there was Halloween-songs played in the streets~ They even played "Halloween" by the Norwegian/Danish 90's group AQUA! I grew up with their music, it was so cool to hear their song in Japan!! XD

We saw handprints of Eiji Wentz and Teppei Koike~ There were handprints from a lot of various artists, Bigbang and Choshinsei were there too! :D

USJ- Lunch: Pumpkin chicken sandwich and Elso-cream puff.  It was delicious!

Magical Starlight Parade - A parade with lots of lights - marked the end of our day at USJ. It was a wonderful day!

On Oct. 8th me and Yuto went to Kyoto!!

The beautiful river in Kyoto~

Fantastic looking desserts and omuraisu in a restaurant window in Kyoto.

Me as Maiko-san. lol XD

We had omuraisu in Kyoto ^___^

And we walked around in the shopping streets. There were a lot of intersting shops! And a lot of Swedish people, I could understand what they were saying as we walked by them. XD

There was a crab in Kyoto too!! :D

We had Ninja crepes with green tea~ It was so deliciousssss

We went to Kiyomizu temple~ It was the first time I went to a temple, and even though it was already dark when we got there, I was amazed to see it! :D

The beautiful night view of Kyoto taken from Kiyomizu temple~

Kyoto Tower in front of Kyoto JR Station ^_^

Gyuudon at Sukiya. Such a nostalgic meal for me, since I used to eat Sukiya's gyuudon a lot last time I was in Japan.

The last day in Osaka was a very calm and nice one. We went to Osaka Castle and just walked around talking and rested in the sunny weather.

This bicycle seems to have been standing there for quite some time... And the plants had taken over it. It was kind of funny. :P

The bridge to Osaka Castle. The sign says something like "The bridge to Heaven" :)

Osaka Castle~ It was very beautiful!

We discoverfed a parrot outside of the castle~

After Osaka Castle, we went into the Pokemon Centre in Osaka station XD It was cool!

I had so much fun and so many beautiful memories on this trip! All thanks to Yuto. It was sad to say goodbye that day, but I was truly happy for the time we had spent together~ (And actually, we are more than just good friends~)

The Osaka sun, on the morning of my return to Norway. This picture was taken on the train on my way to Kansai Airport.

Japan from the air~

Plane food. I got Dove chocolate. I love it XD It made my plane ride a little more happy. lol

Here are some more pictures of things I bought! XD

Cookie Monster from USJ~

Rilakkuma pencil case from Village Vanguard

I discovered something amazing - Matcha green tea LATTE. OMG it's my new favorite latte.

Japanese anmitsu dessert at Fujiya in Shinsaibashi~ I had missed it!

I also bought the November issue of Popteen :D
Rilakkuma pillow from a Tax Free shop in Kansai Airport

This was an amazing trip, and I'm so glad I chose to go to Osaka! I will never forget it~ And I'm looking forward to go back!!!
